AWS – AWS Lambda Launches Function States, improved VPC networking, and the Python 3.8 Runtime in the AWS Secret and Top Secret Regions

AWS Lambda now supports Function States, improved VPC networking, and the Python 3.8 runtime in the AWS Secret and Top Secret regions. Customers in these regions will now see significant improvements to function startup performance and more efficient usage of elastic network interfaces. Function States enables Lambda to communicate the current state of your function when connecting to network resources.
