AWS – AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry adds support for Amazon ECS in Amazon CloudWatch Container Insights and metrics support for AWS Lambda applications in Amazon Managed Prometheus (Preview)

Today, AWS Distro for OpenTelemetry (ADOT) adds support for Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) metrics running on Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) in Amazon CloudWatch Container Insights (preview), enabling customers to easily collect container metrics and analyze them along with other metrics in Amazon CloudWatch. You can also collect AWS Lambda application metrics and send them to Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus (preview).
