AWS – AWS customers can now self opt-in to AWS Wavelength Zones

Starting today, customers can easily enable AWS Wavelength Zones themselves from the new “Settings” section of the EC2 Console or ModifyAvailabilityZoneGroup API . Once enabled, customers can create and manage resources in the Wavelength Zone using the same APIs and Management Console they use for Availability Zones in AWS Regions.
