AWS – Amazon RDS for SQL Server Now Supports High Availability in AWS US West (Northern California) Region

Amazon RDS for SQL Server now supports Multi-AZ support for Amazon RDS for SQL Server in the AWS US West (Northern California) Region. This new high availability option leverages the SQL Server Database Mirroring (DBM) or Always On Availability Groups (AGs) technology.
