AWS – Amazon Q Developer Pro tier introduces a new, improved dashboard for user activity
Amazon Q Developer Pro tier now provides a detailed usage activity dashboard that gives administrators greater visibility into how their subscribed users are leveraging Amazon Q Developer features and improving their productivity. The dashboard offers insights into user activity metrics, including the number of AI-generated code lines and the acceptance rate of individual features such as, inline code and chat suggestions in developer’s integrated development environment (IDE). This information enables administrators to monitor usage and evaluate productivity gains achieved through Amazon Q Developer.
New customers will have this usage dashboard enabled by default. Existing Amazon Q Developer administrators can activate the dashboard through the AWS Management Console to start tracking detailed usage metrics. Existing customers can also continue to view a copy of the previous set of metrics and usage data, in addition to the new detailed usage metrics dashboard. These improvements come in conjunction with the recently launched per-user activity report and last activity date features for Amazon Q Developer admins, further enhancing visibility and control over user activity.
