AWS – Announcing Personal Identifiable Information (PII) detection and remediation in AWS Glue (Preview)

Personal Identifiable Information (PII) detection and remediation in AWS Glue is now available in preview. This feature uses pattern matching and machine learning to automatically detect PII at both the column and cell levels during an AWS Glue job run. AWS Glue includes options to log the type of PII and its location and immediately take remedial action as necessary.
